During a recent pipeline revamp, we notice that the dailies submission process does require some re-engineering. There are a few things that we want to improve :
- Review video transcoding process should be sensitive and conformant to the project’s OpenColorIO profile.
- Transcoding processing can be offloaded to a server in order to avoid a spike of artists network traffic during the dailies submission time.
- The review video should have clean burn-in of the workflow tasks, video medium, colospace and information of its source materials.
- Review video format can be selected or controlled by a sequence based profile.
- Simple Right-click to invoke the submission tool
- Shotgrid integration
